MD Logic Version 5.0 is introduced to Orthopaedic Surgeons at the Recent American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Meeting in San Diego

During the three day meeting in San Diego (Feb 16th, 17th, 18th) the MD Logic sales team met with over 100 Orthopaedic Clinics from across the country. Bill Hurdle, Regional Manager for MD Logic stated “the AAOS turned out to be one of the busiest Orthopaedic shows in years. We had Orthopaedic Clinics from all across the country stop by the MD Logic booth to learn more about what makes MD Logic so special. Once the doctors see the workflow of our screens and how we have engineered MD Logic it does not take long for the smiles to follow. After all my job is to help the doctors and staff save time so they can do their job.”

The latest software release of version 5.0 was demonstrated at the at the academy show. RB Ellis, Regional Manager for MD Logic attended the show and commented that “physicians are more serious this year about getting automated than any previous year. What was surprising to me was the sheer number of clinics that already had an EMR and were looking to replace their current EMR. All of these clinics still dictated their clinical notes and simply used their EMR for scanning and storing documents. The number one goal of a new EMR was to find one that was fast. What they all had learned is that those drop-down mouse driven systems just don’t save time and are ineffective in a busy clinic. Plus the clinical notes look canned and computer generated. Not with MD Logic. Doctors were able to quickly see how they could document care “real time” in the exam room while in front of the patient and generate a clinical document that looked dictated.” MD Logic has been participating in the AAOS show for 11 years.
