His responsibilities span multiple areas of development, including the MD Logic EHR, Practice Management (PM) software, laboratory interfaces, and a wide range of integrations across the company’s expanding portfolio of software solutions and services.

Jake works closely with software engineers, management, corporate trainers, and support staff to help drive innovation while ensuring that MD Logic continues delivering intuitive, efficient, and highly integrated healthcare technology solutions. His collaborative approach and technical expertise have contributed significantly to the evolution and modernization of the MD Logic platform.

Raised in South Georgia, Jake attended Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned a degree in Computer Information Technology. He joined MD Logic in 2010 and began working under Michael Copelli, gaining extensive hands-on experience in software engineering, system architecture, healthcare technology integration, and product development. During his early years with the company, Jake quickly became known for his ability to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to the long-term vision of the MD Logic platform.

Over the years, Jake has played an instrumental role in helping MD Logic remain at the forefront of healthcare technology and innovation. His technical leadership and engineering insight have helped the development team continuously improve performance, integration capabilities, workflow efficiency, and overall user experience across the MD Logic product suite.

Jake values direct feedback from MD Logic customers, support technicians, and corporate trainers, believing that real-world insight is essential when developing new software features and workflow enhancements. Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and children. When he is not developing the latest MD Logic innovations, he can often be found at the gym or training in Jiu-Jitsu.
