Smart Phone Apps in the Works for MD Logic Users

Since the release of the first Apple iPad, MD Logic customers have been able to use touch screen tablets to access their patient health records. Since its inception in 1994, the MD Logic software has been engineered to run in a true “touch screen” environment making these tablets a “perfect” fit for MD Logic customers. As of 2013, there are now multiple options in tablets with many different manufactures offering these touch screen technologies.

At the last MD Logic EHR User Conference held during the month of November 2012, our customers requested that MD Logic management consider adding the functionality of being able to access the MD Logic EHR software on their smart phones. MD Logic is pleased to announce that at a recent meeting Thomas J. Bierster, Jr., CEO for MD Logic, Inc., announced that MD Logic is currently underway developing smart phone applications for both the Apple iPhone and the Android phones. Mr. Bierster reported “I am happy to inform both our employees and our customers that the development of our smart phones apps began earlier this year. To date all is going great with the smart phone apps development.”

“We listened to our customers at the recent MD Logic EHR User Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia and have made the investment in time, capital and software development to engineer the MD Logic smart phone application. Our goal was not only to offer a Smart Phone Application but to offer a Smart Phone Application that is simple to use and will give our customers real-time access to their patients health records 24/7. The Smart Phone Apps will be available to run on any Apple iPhone and Android operating. As a company we are excited to bring these new smart phone applications to our customers.”
