2 January 2012

MD Logic, the leading U.S. provider of High Performance Electronic Health Records Solutions closed out 2011 with another record year in EHR sales.

Thomas J. Bierster, Jr., Chief Executive Officer for MD Logic stated “I am very pleased with the growth of the company in 2011. We are fortunate to employ such a great team of talented people that enjoy working each day to help doctors and their staff members save time through our innovative EHR solutions. MD Logic accomplished our goals in 2011 and continued our rapid growth in EHR market share.” “When I look back at 2011 I am reminded of all the extra effort our team put into making MD Logic the EHR of choice for 2011. Busy healthcare providers are quickly finding out that they don’t have time to waste with complicated EHR solutions that reduce the number of patients that can been seen each day in clinic. Our goal has always been to provide unmatched speed and accuracy with the MD Logic software. The government is requiring healthcare providers to collect more clinical data at each patient visit. The data is now a requirement to needed to meet meaningful use. If a doctors is looking to implement an EMR that will save time and make the clinic more efficient then they have come to the right company.”

Thomas J. Bierster, Jr. also stated “If I had to choose the top five milestones for 2011 for MD Logic it would include the following:”

1. In the first quarter of 2011 we released the MD Logic World Wide EMR™ v5.0 software. The new MD Logic v5.0 software was integrated with the MD Logic Patient Kiosk and the MD Logic Command Center™ to create a new standard in speed and total automation for healthcare providers.

2. Following this major release MD Logic successfully passed the testing for Stage 1- Meaningful Use and earned Complete EHR Ambulatory Certification as a complete EHR by the Drummond Group. This enabled our customers to demonstrate “meaningful use” and qualify for EHR incentives offered under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

3. With our EHR certification completed, MD Logic hosted the Annual MD Logic EMR User Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta Georgia. Users attending the conference were trained on the specifics required to meet “meaningful use” in the MD Logic software.

4. After attending the MD Logic EMR User Conference, physician customers began to sending their prescriptions electronically from the MD Logic Government Certified software. The MD Logic electronic prescribing software offers the fastest solution for healthcare providers to send electronic prescriptions.

5. Starting the last week of December 2011, MD Logic physician customers began to attest to “meaningful use” and earn their first $18,000.00.

I was pleased to receive many calls and emails from customers stating just how pleased they were with MD Logic and meeting “meaningful use”. “2011 proved to be a fast paced year in software development and education for both MD Logic and our customers. I am extremely pleased with the EHR solutions we offer to the healthcare community and look forward to continuing the advancement and market share as we move into 2012.”
