With the touch of a button, MD Logic creates the Telehealth session and allows the provider to send an SMS text message directly to the patient's cell phone containing a secure link to join the visit. There is no need for staff to switch between different applications, manually create meeting invitations, or manage a separate Telehealth platform.
No Patient Registration Required
We also designed the patient experience to be just as simple. Patients do not have to create an account or register for a separate Telehealth service to join their visit. The patient simply receives the SMS message from the practice, touches the Telehealth link, and follows the prompts to connect with their healthcare provider. It's that simple. Receive the text. Removing unnecessary registration and login steps helps make virtual visits easier for patients while reducing the amount of time practice staff spend helping patients connect to their appointments.
Telehealth and the Patient Chart - Together on One Screen
One of the biggest advantages of MD Logic's integrated Telehealth technology is what the healthcare provider can do while communicating with the patient. The live Telehealth video stream is integrated into the MD Logic EHR workflow, allowing the provider to communicate with the patient while continuing to work within the patient's electronic chart.
During the Telehealth visit, the provider can:
