MD Logic is pleased to report that our customers easily able to comply with the new MIPS reporting requirements. The MD Logic EHR Software is implemented in over 20 specialties of medicine from coast to coast and internationally. The MIPS reporting for 2017 was to be submitted to a registry 03/31/2018. To simplify the MIPS reporting process, MD Logic customers were provided a preferred reporting registry to report MIPS. Our software engineers tested MIPS data with this registry and negotiated a discounted pricing for using this registry. At the same time, customers were free to choose a different registry.
One of the biggest advantages of being an MD Logic Customer is the ability for our customers to easily control and collect patient data. The MD Logic software is engineered to provide speed and ensure our customers collect the data required to meet the MIPS requirements. Like most new requirements there were many questions received from our customers. Having the ability to quickly document patient care and collect the appropriate data proved to be a huge advantage to MD Logic customers over other EHR software companies. To be successful with MIPS reporting a customer must collected specific data. It is hard to believe but many EHR software companies still encourage doctors to dictate due to the inefficiency of the EHR software. These practices are being put in a huge disadvantage since they must hire more staff to manually search for and enter data to comply with MIPS.
