Meaningful Use Stage II and Smart Phones the Focus of 2014

MD Logic, the leader in high performance EHR solutions, accomplished the goals set forth by the company for 2014. The primary focus of 2014 was to complete the software development and testing of Stage II Meaningful Use certification. Once completed, the next goal would be to train and educate our customers on how to efficiently implement these new government requirements without losing productivity.

Bierster, Jr., CEO for MD Logic, stated “I was happy to report on May 30, 2014 that MD Logic had successfully completed testing with the Drummond Group and earned Meaningful Use Stage II Certification. Software development and planning for Meaningful Use Stage II began in 2013. Our software engineers invested a great deal of time in planning and engineering these new requirements so that they would be efficiently integrated in the MD Logic EHR software workflow. Making Meaningful Use Stage II simple for our customers to implement was critical. Based upon the feedback from our customers, we accomplished this goal.

“The MD Logic EHR national user conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia in June 2014. The focus of the conference was to educate our customers on the most efficient ways to implement Meaningful Use Stage II. There are many companies that develop software but at MD Logic our strength is in engineering software that compliments the workflow of busy clinics. Our customers are able to implement these new requirements without have to sacrifice productivity in clinic.

“MD Logic also introduced our new smart phone apps at the Summer EHR user conference. The MD Logic smart phone apps were the hit of the conference. We began developing our smart phone apps in 2013 and have worked to ensure that our smart phone apps are easy to use and secure. The apps are being offered to both Android and iPhone users. These new apps will allow our customers to access their health records 24/7 from anywhere the can use their smart phones. As we move into 2015 we have some big plans in place for the MD Logic EHR software. Our focus is to continue our development in offering the most efficient and productive EHR software in the industry.”
