MD Logic, the leader in high performance EHR solutions, recently attended our 8th year at the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Specialists Conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year MD Logic demonstrated our latest software release and helped educate doctors on what is essential when investing in an electronic health record (EHR).
Tim McKenna, Vice President of Sales for MD Logic, commented “at this year’s conference we met with a lot of doctors that were actively looking to implement an EHR. Interestingly enough I would estimate that half of the doctors looking for an EHR had already implemented an EHR. Unfortunately these doctors found out the expensive way that not all EHR systems are built for speed. The doctors that already had an EHR complained that their production was down as much as 40% as the result of the EHR.
“Like most doctors that invest in an electronic health record for the first time they have little to no experience in determining what is essential in an EHR. As a result many doctors buy with the emphasis on price thinking that all EHRs are designed the same. It does not take long for a doctor to change their mind when production drops and they begin to lose money after they implement an EHR. I have been selling EHR systems for sixteen years and understand what it takes to successfully implement an EHR. MD Logic is designed for speed and to keep pace with the busiest of clinics. It doesn’t take long for a doctor to begin touching the MD Logic software and quickly see why MD Logic is so unique and engineered to save time. Each person on our sales team takes the time to complete an analysis of the clinic before making recommendations. The goal is to implement MD Logic and streamline the workflow of the clinic. Once the doctors see the ease of our automated check-in software, our patient kiosk software and the MD Logic Command Center™ they quickly learn how MD Logic will increase efficiency, reduce overhead and make the clinic more profitable.
“It’s always great to have our customers swing by and talk to prospective buyers at the MD Logic booth. Having a customer back up our claims and share that fact that they are saving time with MD Logic adds another level of credibility to the story. When a doctor invests in MD Logic they can rest assured that it will be their last EHR investment.”
