LIVE SUPPORTMD Logic, the leading U.S. provider of High Performance Electronic Health Records Solutions, participated in our 14th year at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons meeting as the preferred EHR of choice. The AAOS conference was held in New Orleans from March 11th – 14th.
During the three day conference our sales team had the opportunity to meet with Orthopaedic Surgeons from all around the country. What stood out this year was the utter frustration amongst Orthopaedic surgeons that had implemented a different EHR. These physicians entered our booth in search of a productive EHR but thinking that all EHR systems are the same. When speaking with these physicians about their experience with EHR technology they each felt like their EHR had let them down. They complained about decreased productivity, the need to still dictate and staying late after hours to catch up with electronic charting. Physicians employed by hospitals or teaching universities complained the most about their cumbersome EHR system.

Our sales team invested three solid days demonstrating our software to Orthopaedic Surgeons. Our Orthopaedic customers are more than willing to take the time to share their EHR experience with other Orthopaedic surgeons looking to make a change. Being skeptic about EHR is expected when you have had a bad experience but once you are introduced to MD Logic you can immediately see the difference. Physicians that have had a bad experience make great 2nd time buyers as they now know what they don’t want in an EHR.
