Laura Pruett

Laura Pruett takes on the responsibility of managing the daily operations at our corporate headquarters. As the Director of Corporate Operations, Laura spends her typical day working with the employees, managers, sales representatives and customers.

 

Laura plays a key role in managing the funding, approving new orders and ensuring that all paperwork and contracts are completed and accepted at MD Logic corporate. Prior to joining MD Logic Laura worked in Nashville at the Envoy corporation. During her time with Envoy, Laura worked directly with Envoys president in providing ongoing management of the company. A transfer by her husband’s company relocated Laura and her family from Nashville to Atlanta in the early 1990’s.

 

In 1995 Laura was introduced to Mr. Bierster who had just founded MD Logic. The company was actively recruiting for the position of Director of Corporate Operations when Mr. Bierster first met Laura. Shortly after their meeting Laura was offered the position and became one of the first MD Logic employees.

 

Growing up in Georgia, Laura set goals and attended the University of Georgia majoring business management. What many people don’t know is that Laura’s father was a very successful entrepreneur that actually invented those bricks with the internal fire starter used in fireplace. The technology was eventually acquired by the Coleman Corporation. So, the next time you fire up your fire place using a gas lighter remember where the idea began.

 

Laura is a big Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons fan. When not at MD Logic corporate, Laura spends time with her husband, son and daughter.
