Center for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine

Finding an EHR that could keep pace with our busy Orthopaedic clinic was a challenge. All the EHR’s we reviewed looked exactly the same until our clinic was introduced to MD Logic. Within the first 10 minutes of the MD Logic demonstration we knew we had found our EHR.

What makes MD Logic unique is the flexibility, speed and efficiency developed into the software. The MD Logic EHR software is designed to give the physician and staff total control when it comes to customizing the clinical knowledge base (what I say and what I do as a physician) so that the clinical documents (H&P, Progress Notes) read as if they were dictated.

Another huge benefit is the software being designed around touch screen technology. This makes MD Logic easy to navigate and allows both the physicians and staff the ability to document care "real time" in the exam room. The MD Logic Command Center controls the patient workflow in our clinic each day. A schematic of my office appears on my wireless tablet identifying the next patient to be seen and identifies the exam room. I simply touch the screen and everything I need to know about my patient is displayed for me to review before I walk into the exam room. As I document care, the CPT and Dx codes for the patient visit are generated and updated to the MD Logic PM (practice management) software. When a patient checks out, their charges are already in the system saving my staff time. To me MD Logic is like technology at the speed of patient care.

Another great benefit of MD Logic is the MD Logic Smart Phone App. I have 24/7 access to my patients health records and the ability to take pre-op and post operative photos with the MD Logic App. The company is creative in terms of software design and actually takes the time to listen to their customers and develop new MD Logic features.

Our clinic is proud to say that we have been a MD Logic customer for over 17 years now. By far one of the best decisions we have ever made for the Center for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
