ICD-10 Available at 2014 MD Logic EHR User Conference

25 February 2014

As trends in the U.S. reach their highest level to date in requiring healthcare providers to collect patient data, the bar will be further raised with the mandate in requiring the adoption of ICD-10 codes beginning in October 2014. It is one thing to provide ICD-10 codes to our customers but an entirely different quest to provide a robust and yet easy to use ICD-10 application to our customers.

As the leader in high performance EHR solutions, MD Logic focuses 100% of our resources in developing, marketing and supporting electronic health record technology. Our goal is simple – we create EHR solutions that allow healthcare providers to maximize efficiency, reduce overhead and boost profitability. The goal in integrating ICD-10 with MD Logic was to continue offering a simple to use and simple to customize solution for our customers. Development for ICD-10 followed the same easy to use features that our customers currently have with ICD-9.

The new ICD-10 codes have integrated with the new MD Logic EHR Stage II Certified Meaningful Use software. Both the new MD Logic software and the ICD-10 codes will be released this summer at the MD Logic EHR User Conference scheduled for June 20th – 21st at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead Georgia. Users attending the conference will be trained on the new features required for meaningful use stage II, ICD-10 along with all the new MD Logic software features. In addition to offering ICD-10 codes, MD Logic will continue to offer and support ICD-9 codes for insurance carriers that require ICD-9. Out intuitive software will simplify the process and make coding ICD-10 codes the best in the EHR market.
